About Vitelcom

Vitelcom Mobile Technology is a European company, founded in 2001, and makes UMTS, EDGE, GSM/GPRS and CDMA mobile telephones.

Vitelcom operates from Spain, France, Germany and Latin America and has production sites in Spain and Brazil. Vitelcom employs about 600 people worldwide and supplied more than 4 million phones in 2005.

Vitelcom has signed a license contract with Grundig Multimedia BV in January 2005. The result of such agreement is Grundig mobile branded products, which combine the global brand awareness of Grundig in the area of entertainment technology with the first-class technology and flexible business models of Vitelcom.
